The company started out as an engineering consultancy with 2 employees. Today more than 200 employees work at its sites.

• 1982  -  Founding of the company as an engineering consultancy
  
  
• 1989  -  Founding of the  Industrieautomatisierung GmbH
               Key area: Development + production of automation systems
  
  
• 1994  -  Change of name to  Automation GmbH
  
  
• 1999  -  Founding of the  Technology Hansestadt Lübeck GmbH
               Key areas: Development, produktion, distribution of automated
                  production systems for the Scandinavian market
  
  
• 2002  -  Founding of Goeke Technology Group GmbH
