Adhesive bonding

Through the use of automated processes, high quality is achieved in production through efficient, standardised work. For all applications and customer-specific requirements, IBG offers automated systems for bonding and sealing with different adhesives and sealants, as well as turnkey plants.

Flexible adhesive systems enable the production and assembly of a wide variety of components. A continuous-path control robot is used to apply adhesive and sealing beads to the components and then join them together. Laser scanning can also be used to check the integrity of the bead to guarantee the quality of the end product.
