Founded more than 35 years ago, IBG Automation GmbH today develops, designs and implements complex and highly individual automation systems.

Its own in-house programmers develop and implement complex software systems for machine controllers. This includes e.g. robot controllers, programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and process visualisation systems. In addition, our customers receive in-depth training courses on operating the equipment as well as comprehensive support from our specialists.

All of the Group’s activities are centrally controlled from the technology hub in Neuenrade. All development services are thus optimally bundled, fostering the transfer of groundbreaking technology.

Founded in 1999, IBG Technology Hansestadt Lübeck GmbH specialises in the development, production and sale of automated production systems for the North German and Scandinavian markets.

The location has all relevant specialist departments such as design, project planning, production, assembly as well as its own robot and PLC programmers so that it can implement large and extensive automation projects independently of the headquarters in Neuenrade.

Originally, the site in South Carolina, USA, was established as a service branch for a major German customer in order to provide optimum support for its production plant in the US.

Today IBG North America regularly supplies automation systems to various German, American and Canadian companies and commissions them on site.
