Needle grippers

IBG has developed a new needle gripper whose compact and simple construction make it perfectly suited for handling flexible fibre composite material.

High availability and low wear are guaranteed by the needle gripper which is based on standard components. The design enables needles to be symmetrically yet perfectly inserted between the carbon fibres. The use of small diameter needles allows for even the finest fibers to be gripped, without destroying them. Fibre structure displacement is thereby prevented.

The needle gripper, which can be adapted to your requirements, is thus ideally suited for CFRP machining.
