safeGrip
The safeGrip gripper series is a good example of the excellent interaction with research. In a joint project with science, a complex gripper system has been developed which has been enabled by force-sensitive gripper fingers to handle highly sensitive objects. This ensures a high degree of process reliability.
The gripper is equipped with additional sensors that fulfill various functions. The first industrial application took place in the investigational medical products storage facility. It is checked almost simultaneously whether the gripper has gripped a preparation vial, whether the storage location in the blister pack is available, and if the barcode located on the vial is scanned.
The gripper-sensor combination has a modular structure and can therefore be ideally adapted to your requirements. Applicable failure and fallback strategies are designed and implemented.
