Stacker cranes

The stacker cranes make the linking of individual production steps and intermediate storage in a high rack system possible.

The prerequisite for an in-house flow of goods is a process-reliable and flexible connection between production, assembly, picking and intermediate storage of the products in a high-bay warehouse.

To realize this task, IBG designed and developed an individual stacker crane system for automated logistics storage where the workpieces are placed in storage containers after injection molding and transported to the interim storage facility.

This is done by a servomotor-driven shuttle, which runs in the vertical and horizontal directions and stores the small load carriers with the product components in their predetermined positions.
