Apprenticeships at IBG Automation GmbH – Technology That Makes a Difference

For over 40 years, IBG Automation has been developing custom production systems and smart automation solutions for industry—from the automotive sector to aerospace and the pharmaceutical industry. What begins in Neuenrade and Lübeck often ends up at production sites around the globe. This is exactly where our apprenticeship program comes in: We’re not looking for bystanders, but for people who want to roll up their sleeves, contribute ideas, and grow with us.

We offer the following apprenticeship programs:

• Mechatronics Technician (m/f/d) – You combine mechanics, electrical engineering, and control technology to create functioning systems and get them up and running.
• Electronics Technician for Industrial Systems (m/f/d) – You plan, install, and maintain the electrical systems that bring our automation solutions to life.
• Industrial Mechanic (m/f/d) – You manufacture, assemble, and test the mechanical assemblies on which our machines rely.
• Industrial Business Administrator (m/f/d) – You ensure that the business processes behind the technology run smoothly, from purchasing to sales.
• Technical Product Designer (m/f/d) – You develop design drawings on the CAD screen that will later be used to create actual components and systems.

And because an apprenticeship doesn’t have to be the end of the road: With us, you can earn your vocational high school diploma while completing your apprenticeship or combine your apprenticeship directly with a dual degree program, such as in mechatronics, mechanical engineering, or industrial engineering.
