Due to the high complexity between object position recognition and gripping point calculation, IBG developed a process-safe and economical automation system that automatically feeds and removes screw blanks from a CNC lathe. The blanks are provided in steel containers without uniform orientation and are detected by industrial image processing systems and gripped robotically.
