System robots

IBG develops and designs innovative robot modifications and processes for customer-specific applications and requirements. For example, a robot was developed for tight spaces with short forward and backward cycle times for the dismantling of nuclear power plants. Utilizing our wealth of experience in the field of CFK gripping systems and CFRP machining, an industrial robot specially created for this task was designed with an extended arm made of CFRP.

The composite fiber material CFRP (Carbon Fiber Reinforced Polymer Composites), which is made of carbon fibers and epoxy resin, is an indispensable part of aerospace, wind energy, and even racing. It owes this to its numerous positive qualities, which are unique in this combination. For example, CFRP is very strong and rigid at a comparatively low density.

This innovative solution allows better ergonomics and cycle time of this system. The extension of the swingarm is customized for each application.

Other applications include seal application heads, cylinder head grippers, cleaning heads, and cutting heads.

Optimisation of production processes in all sectors

Automation and Robotics as instruments for increasing the efficiency of industrial production processes are designed and developed by the IBG / Goeke Technology Group, under the guiding principle "Transformation of human genius into technical perfection". Technology solutions and high technology systems are designed for the individual requirements of our global clients and all sectors, from our main headquarters in Neuenrade, Dortmund.
